The natural monument of Cueva de los Naturalistas (the cave of the naturalists)

It has a surface of 2 hectares and was classified on December 19 th 1994, Natural Space of the Canaries, situated in the municipalities of Tias and Tinajo, this volcanic tube in form of opened mouth is a singular geomorphologic element and highly representative of the island structures, letting you see galleries of a high scientific interest, it has a great beauty in all, and that confers it a special status as regards the other caves of the archipelago.
