The natural monument of Los Ajaches

It is found on a surface of 3009 hectares and was declared Natural space of the Canaries on June 19 th 1987. Situated in the municipality of Yaiza. The volcanic massif of Los Ajaches has an impressive beauty that let you see the land modulated by the lava in fusion creating real art pieces, certain sectors have a scientific interest because they have found palaeontologist sites with the presence of fossils of the inferior Pliocene.
